There are more than 3,200 items located at the Cuyler Mohawk Museum. The items marked “on-site” in this Directory are shown individually on selected pages.
The 30,000 images on the website that are not part of the Museum’s contents are marked “not-on-site” in this Directory.

These items can be seen by visitors through appointments or on days the museum is open to the public
Old photographs, paintings with incorrect coloring – newspapers and magazines have their images and printing enhanced to assure readability. All images had to be realigned: with new perspectives, cropping, straightening and other general retouching techniques.
All images not in the museum’s collections have been taken from dozens of on-line auction websites.
The latest images are at the bottom of their respected pages.
All “Book Covers” are shown for their artistic or historic images. There has not been enough time to find the creators of these images.
Chinese American artists of all periods are portrayed.
The website has been rebuilt on the current version of WordPress with Elementor and a custom theme. It replaces the earlier WordPress 1.2.1 theme, which was no longer supported by its developers and caused problems such as blank spaces on the front page and an inability to link some subpages to parent pages.
The website uses GoDaddy for hosting ModerneAmerica.com and uses PhotoPad Professional by NCH Software for imaging.
