ABOUT MUSEUM

A Historic Church Turned Museum

The Cuyler Mohawk On-Line Museum is housed in the historic former Cuyler Church in Brooklyn, NY. Originally a gathering place for the local Mohawk community who worked on the city's skyscrapers, the building itself has since received National Trust Historical designation. The museum showcases more than 3,000 furnishings, paintings, sculptures, and other Art Deco and Mid-century modern pieces. It also features a large digital archive of 20,000 related images.

Our mission is to preserve and share history, art, and heritage with everyone interested in exploring the stories of the past.
